Time to Play

Every day children learn through their play.

This is the most valuable tool through which children discover and learn about the world around them.

A stimulating play based preschool environment provided by early childhood educators aims to instill in each child the desire to learn in the years ahead. Skills learned in preschool are life long. Some of these skills and qualities are:

bullet

communication

bullet

self-esteem

bullet

respect for others

bullet

problem solving

bullet

group participation

bullet

taking responsibility for ourselves and our actions

bullet

acceptance

Preschools provide play and learning experiences which challenge all the following areas of a child's development:

Developmental Areas

Language Intellectual
Social Physical
Emotional Creativity

Children are encouraged to:

bullet

explore and experiment

bullet

ask questions and seek answers

bullet

make choices and decisions

bullet

freely express themselves through play

All this learning, and more, takes place through play at preschool.
